The Unsung Heroines: What Sets Vermont Surrogacy Network Apart

There are women in this world who quietly hold the power to change someone’s life forever. Not through fame. Not through fortune. But through courage, compassion, and the willingness to carry something beyond themselves.

We call them surrogates.

But to us, they are unsung heroines, the ones who make dreams come true for families who’ve walked through loss, grief, and longing.

At Vermont Surrogacy Network, we know this truth intimately. Because this agency wasn’t born from a business idea. It was born from a lived experience.

Jes’s Story: Why This Matters

Jes, our founder, became a surrogate herself. She entered the process with an open heart, and quickly realized how isolating and impersonal the industry could feel.

What she longed for wasn’t just a clinic or a checklist.

She longed for support.

For real connection.

For someone to say, “You matter too.”

And when she didn’t find that, she created it.

Vermont Surrogacy Network was built with the surrogate at the center, not as an afterthought, but as a vital part of the process.

Jes wanted women to feel seen, heard, and deeply supported, not just during the “big moments,” but through every step, every decision, and every emotion along the way.

Brooke’s Journey: What Support Really Looks Like

Brooke, one of our recent surrogates, carried a child for a family who could no longer conceive after a life-altering hysterectomy. From the start, she was full of love and purpose, she had always felt drawn to help others have the families they dreamed of.

But like many journeys, hers wasn’t without challenges.

At 30 weeks, she had a medical scare and had to be hospitalized.

At 35 weeks, she underwent an unexpected C-section.

It was emotional. It was intense. It was real.

And yet, she never felt alone.

“I stayed calm. I stayed grounded. And I knew I had people behind me. Jess called me. The team checked in. They never left me hanging, not once. That meant everything.”

Brooke delivered a healthy baby boy to a family who had almost given up hope. She still receives monthly milestone photos from them. They’re planning a family hike together this summer.

“It gave me purpose, a kind I had never known before,” she said.

“And I would do it again a thousand times over.”

Why This Work Is Sacred

We’re not a big agency with a faceless process.

We are a small, heart-led community built by women who have lived it.

We stay connected. We check in. We ask how you are doing, not just how the pregnancy is going.

We know that surrogacy is more than a medical act, it’s an act of devotion, strength, and service to someone else’s dream.

We serve intended parents from all walks of life, single parents, LGBTQ+ couples, families who’ve faced cancer, infertility, and every heartbreak in between.

And we know that none of their dreams are possible without you.

You Are the Miracle

To every woman who has ever considered surrogacy, we want you to know this:

You don’t need to be perfect.

You don’t need to have all the answers.

You just need to care. And we’ll be here to take care of the rest.

Whether your “why” is still whispering to you… or you just want to talk… we’re here.

Because the world may not always see you.

But we do.

And so do the parents whose lives you just might change forever.

With love and deep gratitude,

The Vermont Surrogacy Network Team
